A portfolio of images curated for this publication provideing the content for Tate Britain’s largest and greatest attendance exhibition ever.
Whilst Don McCullin’s lifetime retrospective exhibition at Tate Britain in the UK spans an unprecedented 11 rooms of the Gallery, the images on display form only an edited selection of those featured across the almost 1500 pages of his three volume Limited Edition publication, ‘Irreconcilable Truths’.
Over a period of almost two years prior to the exhibition opening, Don invested countless hours in his darkroom creating all-new prints of his life’s work and almost 700 of these images are printed within this exceptional publication. A curated selection of these same prints form the exhibition displayed on the walls of the Tate.
The project is certainly one of the highlights for The English Group’s design and publishing career and, because only 1000 copies have been printed, opportunities to own a signed copy of this highly collectable publication are reducing rapidly.
Here though are a few images of the Tate Britain exhibition as photographed by The English Group’s Sarah-Jane Griffey.
