A pleasant morning at The Holburne Museum in Bath to attend the unveiling of a new portrait of one of the 20th Century’s greatest photographers, Don McCullin, painted by Charlotte Sorapure.

We were joined at the unveiling by The English Group, who are designing Don’s lifetime retrospective Irreconcilable Truths, Keith Lunt from Opal Print and Dave Simpson from Create Colour Solutions who have been awarded the equally great honour of printing what is sure to be an important publishing event.

Speaking to Dave about his involvement in the publishing project he said that:

“Working with Don McCullin over the last six months has been fantastic. Not only the opportunity to work closely with Don, but to be responsible for the remastering and preparation of each image to a standard of reproduction that has never been achieved before in any of his previous publications.

I am proud to have the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful project”.
